goodnight pluto…

August 23, 2006, a day that will live on in history, today, Pluto, that distant, cold, dark world named after the chtonic Roman god of the realm of the dead, has been declared dead…earlier today, the International Astronomical Union, the world authority in matters of astronomy, has spoken unanimously after a week-long debate at the Czech Republic’s capital city, Prague…"Pluto is no longer a planet…"
looking back, i remember my kindergarten days when i used to be so ‘hambug’ in class, since i was the only one who memorized the names of the nine planets…i dont know, its quiet disturbing…what we thought was right all this time, was in fact wrong…what else would these scientist prove next? that there really is intelligent life beyond our own home planet? that Cleopatra was gay? or that God doesnt exist?
what next?

my very eager mother just served us nine… what a suggestive pneumonic, this is no longer suitable for kindergartens.
the international astronomical union better think up of a new one, or we’ll have four-year-old pervs running around.
